Preamplified paging console


The built-in amplifier raises a very low level microphone signal to the nominal value of 0 dB (775 mV). An auxiliary input enables up to thirty BM 3002 stands to be connected in series on a single high level input of the amplifier. Four different function modes are possible when multiple microphone stands are connected in series: o mixed; o interlocking; o mixed with two stands having graduated priority; o interlocking with two stands having graduated priority. The excellent directivity of the condenser microphone reduces feedback, off-axis noise, and background noise.
The stand includes a generator for a two-tone signal (chime) to precede microphone announcements.

Paging console

The BM3013 can be attached to a support surface. The two supplementary conductors of the audio cable can be used for controlling auxiliary devices (e.g. “voice priority” function control on the RCF AM 1000 series amplifiers). Microphone featuring high sensitivity and extended frequency response.

Paging console

Unidirectional cardoid-pattern microphone with high sensitivity and extended frequency response. Factory-fitted for direct connection to the AM4000 series, PR4092, EL2126 CD sintoamplifier and 1000 series amplifiers.

Expressly designed to be used with the PD 1066 switching unit. Equipped with six buttons used for selecting the audio zones in which a microphone announcement is to be made, interrupting the background music where present (system with 2 amplifiers). When the stand is connected to a high level input of the amplifier, the maximum distance can reach 1000 metres without any problems of disturbance or interference (with balanced line). By activating the “Alarm” function, it is possible to drive the amplifier with a two-tone siren signal incorporated in the stand. The audio cable has an auxiliary conductor for controlling the chime
board of the amp, where present (e.g. A 1708 board for RCF 4000 series amps). The stand can be permanently attached to the support surface.The dynamic microphone features high sensitivity. The output level can be selected between two values for connecting the stand to either a microphone input of the amplifier (low level) or a line input (high level). Two-tone siren activated by means of the “Alarm” button, with adjustable volume and oscillation frequency. An auxiliary input makes it possible to connect up to ten BM 3067 stands in series which will drive only one line input of the amplifier (high level). Four possible operating modes: mixed, interlocking, mixed with two stands having graduated priority, interlocking with two stands having graduated priority. The stand has a button for activating the “General Call” function on the PD 1066 unit; a button for activating the Alarm” function on the PD 1066; 6 buttons for activating the Zone relays of the PD 1066 unit; and a button for atching activation of the microphone. The system can be composed of a maximum of six BM 8001 control consoles, from which each operator can send announcements to specific audio zones. The announcements can be made directly from the console microphone, or messages can be sent which have been pre-recorded on other equipment (e.g. the RD 2008 digital recorder). The maximum duration of the message is 12 seconds.
The BM 8001 console also includes an alarm button which sends pre-recorded message number 1 with absolute priority over messages from any other console, and enables a subsequent microphone announcement in all zones of the system. If there is more than one BM 8001 console in the system, the activation of each can be regulated by means of a 6-level graduated priority system which permits certain consoles to intervene immediately when the system is engaged.
Numerous other functions facilitate and speed up console operations, including automatic activation/disactivation of all zones simultaneously, storage of 4 configurations with which four groups of pre-defined zones can be recalled and activated, and automatic disactivation of the active console when it has not been used for a certain period of time.
