The Contacta EntryLoop system enables any new or existing door entry system to be clearly heard by hard of hearing people who wear hearing aids fitted with a telecoil facility. In this way EntryLoop ensures that they can hear conversations clearly in what can often be noisy and challenging external environments.
Available in surface and flush fitting formats, EntryLoop interfaces easily to all major door entry systems by a simple connection to the latter's loudspeaker output. The visitor is able to clearly hear conversations by switching their hearing aid to the 'T' or telecoil position which then picks up a signal transmitted by EntryLoop over a magnetic field. This signal cuts out the majority of extraneous background noise making communication far easier for the hearing aid wearer. The visitor is easily able to identify the availability of the loop facility by the provision of the internationally recognised symbol on the EntryLoop unit.
